The Faculty of Information Technology and Computer
Sciences (FITACS) was founded in the year 2002/2003,
through his Majesty's initiative in support of the
information and communication technology sector
(ICT). The establishment of FITACS came as a needed
step towards coping with the vast and fast
developments in the IT sector and in response to the
huge demand for information technology studies.
CADER High Education Diploma for ICT in
Education is the first of its kind in Jordan and
the Arab world. It is a new program by CADER
offered under
the umbrella of Yarmouk University.

TEMPUS
JEP project is about developing the teaching
